For the location in Munich, our client is looking for a qualified:

Senior SQL Developer in the area of Power BI (m/f/d)

Your main tasks:

• Design, conceptualization and implementation of Microsoft Power BI applications (including reports, dashboards, mobile, etc.)
• Modeling of semantic data layers (e.g. with Power BI Power Query, DAX, M) as a basis for interactive data visualizations
• Maintenance and optimization of existing BI applications e.g. regarding performance tuning and improvement of user experience
• Competent point of contact for business units in the transformation of customer requirements into innovative Power BI solutions (including 3rd level support)
• Coordination of external development resources

Your technical requirements:

• Successfully completed technical or university studies in (business) computer science, mathematics or economics with IT orientation and/or comparable professional experience
• Very good knowledge and professional experience in the development of Microsoft Power BI applications (additional knowledge in Cognos or MicroStrategy is an advantage)
• Sound knowledge of Business Intelligence architectures and modeling of a data layer as a basis for reports, dashboards, etc.
• Know-How in Data Science languages (e.g. SQL, DAX or Python) and experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle)
  Initial experience in the cloud environment of Microsoft Azure (e.g. working with Blob Storage, Cloud Functions, Databricks, etc.)
• Good german language skills
