For a position that can be done 100% remotely (but does not have to), our client is looking for a:

Golang DevOps Cloud Services / Kubernetes (m/f/d) - 100% remote possible

Main Tasks:

• Developing and providing safe and high availability services within the eco system of our customer's cloud
• Collaboration on the kubernetes infrastructure
• Writing the k8s operators the service is based on
• Further development of the terraform plugin
• Support and further development of the virtualization middleware (as a link between the engine and the virtualization infrastructure)
• Creation of the software which makes the provision of vm's to over 90 PoPs possible
• Provision of virtual consoles over WebSockets
• Distribution of operating system-images to the PoPs
• Collaboration in agile and spread out teams

Your technical qualifications:

• Finished technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or relevant work experience
• Very good knowledge of using GO
• Experience with Linux as well as an understanding of the interaction between network, operating system and software
• Experience in dealing with relational data bases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL,...)
• Knowledge in dealing with automation tools are of advantage
• Fluent in English
• German language skills are a plus
