Python Software Developer / Artificial Intelligence (m/f/d)

Main Tasks:

• You will become part of the central data science team based in Mannheim
• First point of contact for national and international colleagues who want to identify, evaluate and explore artificial intelligence use cases that create real business value
• Consult managers across the various markets, business models and functions in the practical use of artificial intelligence. This can happen in workshops, project work or other settings
• Implement solutions in Python or another high-level programming language like C++ or Java, develop high-level concepts and lead the implementation of AI/ML-based software. This can include the development of stand-alone applications, or solutions that integrate into existing systems
• Run multiple projects with various stakeholders and participants at the same time

Your technical qualifications:

• A completed master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Profound track record and at least 3 years of professional experience in software development using Phyton
• Proficiency in one of the following languages: C, C++, ABAP or Java
• Experience with/or willing to learn: Rapid development of protypes, design thinking, agile project management, database systems, MS Azure
• Fluent in English and the ability to work remotely
• Speaking German is a plus
